Malena Contreras

Malena is a proud mom of two (and one fluffy Maltipoo named Misho) with a unique journey into real estate. Originally from Mexico, she holds a degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Education, and spent over 15+ years as a professor and a teacher. What began as a trip to Canada to learn English turned into a life-changing adventure: she found love, built a family, and made this country her home.

She started her Canadian career as a computer trainer in Halifax, Nova Scotia, helping newcomers adapt and thrive. Her transition into commercial real estate revealed her true calling, blending her love for people, problem-solving, and continuous learning. When her husband, Gilberto, received a job offer in Toronto, they moved to Ontario and have proudly called the GTHA home ever since.

Today, as a real estate expert and a landlord herself, Malena brings first-hand experience to the table, offering her clients practical insights and guidance rooted in real-world knowledge.

Malena is known for her passion, integrity, and tireless work ethic. She genuinely cares for her clients, always prioritizing their well-being and success. Outside of real estate, you will find her cleaning (yes, she is a clean freak!), cooking, singing karaoke, jogging (or at least out walking Misho!) and spending time with her family. She is reliable, driven, and always there when you need her.
